Several people have asked me about Saturday life drawing classes. Here’s a chance to try it out! This is a tester and a taster – a one-off chance to do some life drawing for free! So come along and meet me and get a feel for the approach I use.
During the afternoon, I will also share the stand out things I learned through attending the Regional Arts Australia art conference Arts and Edges in Kalgoorlie late last year. It was a great experience and I was lucky to be able to attend thanks to a Regional Arts Development Fund grant. The conference inspired me to think more creatively about how to connect with people who are interested in socially-engaged arts in my local region. So I’ll also bring this into discussion.
Have a look at what’s on offer and scroll down to register. Spaces are limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
This three hour session includes:
- welcome and introduction
- sharing some Kalgoorlie ideas
- a tutored life drawing session
- afternoon tea
- a fun cultural mapping process to explore your interest in more sessions and to share your local knowledge.
Just a quick note to say what a lovely group you have on Thursday night… Very welcoming and relaxed. Thank you for making me feel comfortable!!!
