Life Drawing is so good for the brain – working out the left-right hemisphere connections and activating new neural pathways. It has been proven by the Mayo Clinic to be one of the best ways to maintain cognitive health as we age. Let’s do it!

Click the photo to get more information about the venue, including a map.
When you complete the enrolment form below, I’ll send you a map and respond to any questions you may have. Some GPSs and iPhones have a map error, so I want to make sure you know how to find us. Please note that Arana Hills is a north-west Brisbane suburb, near Mitchelton, Ferny Hills, and Everton Hills, about 13km from the city centre.
What should I bring?
Easels and drawing boards are provided. I shall provide some media for this session – a couple of sheets of A2 paper and willow charcoal for some experiments. Apart from that, please bring your own paper and drawing materials. If you prefer to get paper on the day, I offer A2 sized cartridge paper at cost – 25cents/sheet (not acid free). Here’s a suggested list of drawing materials (but don’t feel you have to rush out and buy a lot of materials…we’ll work with what you have).
