Costumed Life Drawing

I am excited to be presenting Shamani Nair for our first Costumed Life Drawing event back at Bunya House.

Shamani is an Indian Classical dancer trained in a genre known as Bharata Natyam,  an art form that combines melody, rhythm and expression. Dating back 2,000 years, this sacred art form originated from Tamil Nadu, a state in South India.

While drawing this dynamic performer, we will also catch glimpses of the rich tradition of storytelling through dance.

We originally planned this session for a ‘Park Life Drawing’ event, but the weather blew that off course. I am excited that we can now proceed!

Unfortunately the current cases of community transmission of COVID-19 prompt me to cancel this event.
