Park Life Drawing #3

Drawing costumed models in outdoor settings is on!

This is our third event and I am excited to be presenting Des McPherson as our model, interpreting a late 1800’s mandolin player.

It will be a relaxed morning in an Everton Hills park under trees away from the maddening crowd! Our model is quite extraordinary and great to draw, and with a bit of coaxing he may be persuaded to play a few songs for us.

There are toilets onsite and cafes nearby.

When

Saturday 13 June 2020, 9.30am-11.30am (please note this event is weather dependent and will be rescheduled in case of rain)

Where??

I will confirm the location with you when you register. (It’s not a mystery but a covid-safety plan!)

Cost

$20

What should I bring?

It is important for each of us to be self-sufficient. Please bring your own:

  • seat/cushion/blanket
  • sun protection and insect repellant as the midges like artists who sit still
  • sketching gear – be aware you will be resting your drawing pad on your knees so A3 is probably the maximum size for comfort
  • fold back clip to stop the breeze flipping your paper
  • hand sanitiser

There are toilets on site and a cafes fairly close by, but definitely bring your own sanitiser as there is none on site.
